CLEAR WINNER [nessino lamp*artemide] i wandered into artemide this weekend during a massive greene street design store binge and fell in love with giancarlo mattioli's nessino lamp all over again. there's a reason moma puts things in its collection- and this clearly has icon written all over it. you've gotta love that psychedelic mushroom thing it has going on. would be a great addition to a monochromatic restaurant design, perhaps if the blue water grill every decided to go mod they could replace their gorgeous red chandeliers with hanging nessino lamps.  Posted by Hello

As a designer you should know this lamp is called a "champignon", which is French for mushroom. As much as I love plexiglass, and I do trust me or rather look at all the checks I've written to sellers on ebay - this is simply a copy of even cooler lamps done in the 70's better even in plexiglass and awesome chrome varities. But the most perfect lamp is the Guzzini UF0 lamp. If you haven't seen one, let me know and I will show a pic.
