fancy pants

i was never a real fancy schmancy type of girl- i've always preferred dressed down to dressed up, but this past october my wonderful ac got some gorgeous crystal stemware for us and i've been rather intrigued by the shiny stuff ever since. flipping through the times magazine last weekend i noticed a steuben ad and well, the rest is history. their new "evening" collection by dante marioni is chic city girl heaven. with fine horizontal cut bands, the collection screams 1930's in the best sort of way. it may be a little uptown for this girl, but we could all use a little glamour once in awhile, right?
