i'm a sucker for a nice hanging light and this new piece from luzifer called mini mikado is way, way cool. it kind of reminds me of twisted venetian blinds, but in a good way. the mini mikado is made of two stamped wooden veneer sheets, mounted to a pattern which lends them torsion and dynamism. available in both suspension and floor versions, the mikado is available for $720 and up at 2modern.
