new shop: willow chicago

willow02

chicago's amy doehla just opened a great new shop called willow in chicago. bursting with indie designers, brooklyn's finest and a selection of roost classics, willow is a great new find on chicago's damen ave. and, in a genius move, amy decided to team up and share her space with a spa- shopping and spa treatments? doesn't get much better. the shop is painted a lovely shade of olive green and while i was there i was able to browse amy's well edited selection of jewelry, homewares and accessories. if you're in chicago stop on by willow at 908 north damen ave (773-772-0140). thanks, amy!

Ohh! Lovely. Do you know the name of the spa? Is there a website? I'll be in Chicago in July and I'd love to take your advice: Spa Treatments + Shopping.

Thanks for the tip Grace!! The story looks lovely and you just can't beat shopping and getting pampered at the same time! I'll have to go check them out next time I go to Sprout.

Willow is fabulous and has a lot of fun stuff for the home. There actually isn't a full spa, but there is a woman, named Karen, who gives facials and does waxing. She uses aromatherapy and massage for her facials so you get destressed as well. I highly recommend Willow and Karen.

This is my favorite shop in Chicago. I travel everywhere and am always on the lookout for unique things for giftgiving and for myself, and whether it's Amy's own gorgeous handmade jewelery and bags, or many of the other items she carries, I never leave without something beautiful. There's always great music playing, too.

I went into this store to buy my girlfreind something and ended up treating myself to a flask, a wallet and a very cool ring that Amy (the owner) made herself. I did get my girlfreind a cool pair of earrings that she loved. Also the music she was playing was pretty good too.

She had some interesting things in her store, but I would NOT put Willow on my list of favorite places.
