I voted for Decor8, personally, I think it's the best blog out there. And then there's you, of course.

thanks! the original template was done by stacy pancake (pancakeandfranks.com) but everything (including this update) after that was done by the lovely kate klapfish at www.threesquaredesign.com. she saves my butt all the time with updates and web stuff that i can't handle. ;)

What is the appeal of Dooce? I don't mean that in a snarky way (hard to convey tone online sometimes!) I'm just curious what the Dooce audience is. I was under the impression that it was a "mommy blog" but as I've only read a couple of posts on Dooce I might be missing something, although the two posts I did read were all about her kid.

for me, dooce is just a site with excellent writing. it's basically the musings of a woman named heather who lives in utah. she writes mostly about her daughter, husband, life and dog. it sounds really simple but her way of writing is what makes it special. she can make pretty much anything funny. i really suggest checking it out. if the first post just doesn't click it's probably just not the site for you. another of my favorites is a food blog called delicious days- if you like food it's a fantastic site for photography and recipes..
