Last week Liberty, London’s foremost destination store, announced a collaboration with leading Swedish interior design brand Svenskt Tenn, taking place in the 3rd floor from November the 7th 2005. Liberty will be the first European Svenskt Tenn stockist outside of Stockholm, specifically selected for synergy in history and brand ideals, a rich heritage in print and textile production and a long standing commitment to supporting design and craftsmanship. Some examples of their work are shown above and below ("Winter Oak" textile by Johan Carpner, Candlestick "Knuten" by Josef Frank, 1938 and "Krona Gratinform" by Anna Irinarchos).
