d*s podcasts!
despite the fact that i run a website, i'm probably one of the least tech savvy people i know- but i've been intrigued by the world of podcasts ever since ac and i got into a debate about their future. i love to get to know the designers and people out there making waves in the design industry and bringing beautiful things into the world. i'm not a fan of reading long stretches of text so i thought- why not podcasts! so, in the interest of adding another dimension of fun to d*s- i'm going to start doing short podcasts with great designers, influential design personalities and other fun design-related people. i have a few lined up, but wanted to see who YOU would like to see interviewed on d*s. any particular designers? crafters? design school teachers? let us all know below and i'll pick the best for upcoming d*s podcasts! thanks!

d*s :)
Paola Antonelli, Curator in the Department of Architecture and Design for MoMA. I had a four week class with her and she was amazing. she is more of the history of design or where design is going, but has interested things to say.
and though they aren't in nyc, but Hella Jongerius and Tord Boontje.
Karim Rashid, you love him right?
JS

i don't have a specific person to recommend, but i'd love to hear someone talk about sustainable design. i realize it's kind of a macro concept, but i'm sure there are people out there with a passion sustainable design in terms of the items we stick IN our homes, too.
