fabric to the rescue

1

ac and i had a sorta crappy last day or two (he had his psp stolen from his hands at our f stop yesterday and then today i had two punk kids try to steal my metro card and then hit me in the back twice when i wouldn't give it to them. they were arrested. go me!) so i had to put these up in the interest of balancing out the ick to yay factor. i'm in love with these new amy fabrics at repro depot. i'm ordering the forest posies toot sweet. i know, more silhouettes, but i love the color combos. perfect for my window seats. $18.95 a yard right here. enjoy!

Pretty fabric. Sorry to hear about the subway run in. That'll teach them to try and beat on a Southern expat, though. :)

I'm so sorry about your subway attack and robbery. It probably makes you and ac wonder why you bothered to return from Paris and Amsterdam!
I'm glad you were able to get them arrested...yeah! How did you do it? Were there police close by...or did the station agent see it happen? I always wonder what I would do in a situation like that. Your parents must be freaking out! I'm sure they probably told you not to argue....

Wow! So sorry you have been going through all of that, but yeah, go YOU! I'm in rural Vermont and I can't even imagine how I'd react if that happened to me.

Wow glad you guys are okay! What a crummy experience. At least there's some satisfaction with the creeps getting arrested (yay you!)

The fabrics are yummy - especially that orange and grey one. High "feel good" factor with these.

Wow! Go you! What's up with the subway lately? It's really sucking. Today I got spit on by a homeless man who I yelled at for pick-pocketing some poor lady. Plus those people got stabbed...what the hell?! Nice fabric.

thanks guys and thanks for all your emails. i'm doing just fine, just a little angry at the way that those kids thought they could hit someone and get away with it. i was left more angry than upset or scared.

but, i think brooklyn is still pretty safe overall, especially park slope where i live. there just seem to be the occasional group of punk kids who like to steal things. jerks.

Sorry to hear about what happened, but it's good to know that you're doing well now. It definitely sounds like you handled the situation well.

I love the pattern of these fabrics. And the color combinations are great, too. The orange and gray one is my favorite.

It's wonderful to know you had a great time in Paris and Amsterdam.
Did you go to Les Editeurs in Paris? I have great food memories from there!
What did you eat?!

i did sabine! i loved it! we just stumbled there after an afternoon in the luxembourg gardens. we just had a snack, i had the delicious bread with three sauces, which were a painfully delicious tapenade, a french coleslaw and a delicious mayo of some sort with dill and spices i couldn't ID. so, so good.

ac had the croque monsieur and loved it.
