houndstooth-o-rama
i love a good modern houndstooth. back when 2x4's houndstooth for knoll came out i was super excited to see one of my favorite patterns get a modern update. now you can get a little modern houndstooth for around $10 a yard at repro depot. they even come in fun, flashy colors. you can never go wrong with an updated classic like houndstooth (i have flor's zooty tooth houndstooth tiles in my kitchen and love them!)

Hancock Fabrics also has a couple color selections in a similar pattern for around $7/yd
ooo, I have the blue version...made pillows out of 'em.
I found mine at Michael Levine's in LA for 7 dollars a yard as well!
it's quite stretchy and courduroy-ish.
