nathan gwirtz
ceramicist nathan gwirtz creates beautiful ornaments from his studio in brooklyn. i love seeing iconic new york imagery like water towers in ornament form- such a fun way to decorate your city tree. nathan also has bird and ornament images that are perfect for those seeing something a bit more traditional. click here to view the full collection and shop online (ornaments are $16 each). enjoy!
[speaking of ceramics, check out kristina's interview with shelly simpson of mud australia. i'm a big fan of her pottery...]

Good blog.
any ideas on where to get cool/unusual christmas stockings?
hi guys
if you can, please shoot me an email for questions, i tend to try to stay out of the comments sections for things like this.
i posted some stockings today and i'd also check mahar dry goods, chiasso, hable construction and west elm. you also might want to do a search on etsy for handmade ideas.
oh, and sprout home has some fun ones..

Very nice design, friend.
I'm flattered to be mentioned here on design*sponge.
I'm selling my ceramics at two venues this month. J Seffens Studio (405 W 44th St, at 9th Ave, in Hell's Kitchen) is selling my pottery with other crafts and art that is all pretty cool. It's open noon to 8 thru Dec-24.
I'll be at the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture craft fair (53 Prospect Park W, at 2nd St, in Park Slope) 11 to 4 on Dec-16.
Thanks!
