i wasn't able to make the
moma spring product preview but one of
notcot's trusty reporters was- his hightlights are
right here. i especially like the speaker mug that lets you play your ipod tunes and run the entire speaker off of the ipod's batteries. fun stuff.
click here for the full post at notcot and
here for the moma store. [be sure to catch the cute salt shaker below...]

I think you are kind of missing the point with the "ipod" mug. It looks to have a standard 1/8 jack, so would work with any MP3 player.
yup, it clearly works with lots of mp3 players. to me, ipod has become synonymous with "mp3 player". i'm sure you could plug anything in here, but it doesn't change the point of the design. it's still about plugging in a portable music device and playing it through a speaker "mug".

Thanks for linking to my post Grace! The buyers at the preview were super helpful and told me that the mug's been very popular in Japan, where it was launched half a year ago, partially because people don't have the room required for the bigger iPod boomboxes.
I noticed a lot of stuff from Argentina in the original post.(which makes me happy becuase i'm from there!) I just bought the salt pepper shaker in Buenos Aires, they are the tinyest thing. I got them in the best museum there www.malba.org.ar
¿The best museum there? Oh..please Lorena. PONETE MEDIA PILA NENA
