velocity (art and design) in seattle is putting on a show of artist amy ruppel's 2005 works. i love her collage style and thought it was definitely worth taking the time out of my lunch break to add this. amy is a self-taught artist from the northwest who makes absolutely darling pieces based mostly on "snapped moments in time". i happen to love her bird motifs the most. check out velocity's site for details and a whole slew of amazing homewares. happy friday everyone, hope you all have a great weekend.
