i'm off to stinson beach, california today. we're attending the wedding of our friends chris and hilleary [congratulations you guys]. ac is actually performing the ceremony. you can register online and everything. it's crazy. i'll be back on tuesday, i hope you all have a wonderful memorial day weekend. enjoy the extra long weekend! see you next week.

I read your blog everyday while I'm at work to make the time go by faster. And now your coming to the left coast I thought I'd tell you about a neat little town close to where you'll be.
It's called Bolinas, it's this little surfer/yuppie kind of town sort of hidden away on the coast. It's not very far from Stinson and it's the cutest little town! The best part is the surf. You can go down to the beach and there are usually a bunch of people surfing and hanging out. Keep an eye out for a black dog named Shadow, he hangs out there a lot.
And you can even rent a board and wetsuit (yes, it's pretty cold), but it's a really awesome place to surf. Just be careful of the seals who like to pop up out of nowhere and scare the shit out of you!

I love monograms, but how do you do it when you keep your maiden name, as I did? I think there should be alternatives to the "traditional" way when the woman takes her husband's name--since that is becoming less and less common, at least in urban areas.
