desu showed a cool new spice rack at brooklyn designs that my boss loved. it's a pretty clever way to store things. i think i'd managed to somehow knock the ones lined up right off the shelf, but hey, if you're a more graceful chef than i am, check it out! you can see desu's full collection here.

That is cool and I would completely wreck it when I flailed my arms in distress after an onion or shallot attacked my eyes.
Unless..
Since the jars seem to be of the re-fillable glass variety, I would glue small magnets to the bottom, or even just drop a small ceramic magnet (food safe, of course) in the spice, and then place thin metal strip on the shelf (if the the shelf wasn't already a paramagnetic metal). The magnetic force will resist the accidental swipe but still allow for easy, unfettered access.
I want that!
Totally love this and wrote about it on my site. Looks great and saves space. Dan- magnets, great idea!
