because i love chocolate
sometimes it just happens to work out that i get to celebrate a product for two reasons. in this case it's because i a) love chocolate to death and b)love great packaging design. mariebelle chocolates are elegant, well-packaged and have a distinct look to them that is utter mariebelle. even the chocolates themselves are decorated with tiny patterns and scenes. they're pure decadence. i just wanted to start friday with a shout out to gorgeous chocolate and the lovely packaging it comes in. [thanks mark for the inspiration!]

MarieBelle chocolates are wonderful and lovely to look at too, but -- their customer service is terrible!
They completely fouled up my valentine to my hub and were nasty about it when I complained --
Wow..you really need to contact them again and speak to someone else in charge. That's not right and they are wonderful. They should make it right, but don't be too snarky. You get much more with sweetness. These are our favorite chocolates to give as gifts and to indulge in ourselves. YUMM...
Oh man, their chocolates are delicious (especially the Earl Grey! Wow!) but really, their hot chocolate in the back room - taken in their "for here" mugs, not to go - is really spectacular. Their Aztec chocolate makes you on cloud nine - it has some spices and deep, dark, rich chocloate, and can either get it with milk (creamier but diluted) or water (almost like espresso). They have regular hot chocolate (non-Aztec), but the Aztec, with hot water, is my favourite. Go get some today!
