salt water blues
even though i've been in brooklyn for awhile now, it's still weird not to be able to have my birthday on the beach. i miss sandy feet, salt water hair and that hot drive in the car back to the house. so, in lieu of my beachy home town, i'll celebrate with these beachy products from velocity art and design: glass coral ($33) and glass urchin vases ($9-13) from roost, followed by "sea" scented candles from ergo ($25). ah...the beach.

i see those coral designs everywhere, from the plastic mod versions to the metal name place holders... i'll give the love, but who gets the cred?
i bought those little sea urchin vases for my mom for mother's day. she absolutely loves them. now i want a set for myself.
