everyone knows i'm a pillow and card freak, hence my obsession with letterpress greeting cards. i've always loved snow and graham, but i don't think i've posted about them yet. how i let this slide, i have no idea. because they're amazing.

snow & graham is a chicago-based letterpress that makes the most elegant, beautiful greeting cards and stationery sets. i buy them at my favorite local store, loom, but you can buy them in most nice accessory or stationery stores (you can also buy them online, or click here for retail lists). i'm a huge fan of their simple floral designs, as well as their architectural looking thank you cards. with designs this strong, you just can't go wrong. click here for more info.

Hi d*s! Snow & Graham have an awesome wrapping paper line out now too! If you like S&G, check out Elum -- they have great stuff as well. http://www.elumdesigns.com/

What do you think of R. Nichols?

the sad sad truth of snow and graham is that they rip off other peoples designs...they were incredibly unique with the start up of their company, letterpress printing the 1930's children's illustrations but now a days they have lost their originality. they copy other peoples designs and can afford to do so. when i started my own card company i called them for an informational interview, the only advise they gave me was to get a good attorney. years later... they asked me for samples of my work and four months later their new line had my designs in it! i shared this info with a fellow card friend, and they had the same experience. i am obviously still annoyed!

i respect your opinion, but that is a serious accusation to make against a company and their livelihood.

i'd like to give you a chance to prove your story here if you'd like, but unless backed up with proof, i'll consider this allegation unfounded.

i'm writing snow and graham to get their take on this. i'd hate to see anyone's reputation damaged by an unfounded claim.

i apologize for posting that comment. i realize it was terribly inappropriate to use your site as a place to express my unfortunate experiences with
s & g.

snow & graham have changed - they no longer have one of their two original designers and have not for a couple of years.
