time out ny KIDS
i am bubbling over with joy this morning for several reasons. first, i got to spend the weekend with my wonderful, wonderful parents to celebrate my birthday (i miss you and love you so much!). second, i scored a goal in our hockey game this week (take that, pork fried rice!). and last but not least, my piece for time out ny kids is out!! it looks FAN-TAS-TIC. i could not have had more fun working on a piece. ever. it was seriously the most fun i've had working with a magazine yet. their writers and art directors were unbelievably friendly and helpful and as enthusiastic about the piece as i was. the piece "spongeworthy" is featured in the july/august issue of time out ny kids and featured 4 pages of wonderful kids design. i am just so excited. if you can check out a copy, please do- this is just so exciting for me. thanks again to lana and the time out ny kids crew for taking a chance on this little sponge. i had so much fun.
