So sorry; it's always awful to lose a pet.

That's a hard one. I lost a Jack Russell, that was much loved, last summer. I like to think of him waiting for me on the other side of Rainbow Bridge. Cheesy, but who knows?

I am so sorry to hear that. My family Rottweiler passed on a few months ago and I miss him everyday. In fact, I keep his wiggle alive (must see in person).

Those furry thingies have an amazing way into our hearts and lives. I know how you feel. I guess we miss them forever, but new puppies seem to grab our attention and heart quite easily :-)

my pooch passed away unexpectedly on new years eve day and i'm still devastated! its embarassing telling people because i don't think they realise that a dog you've had for 14 years is not just a dog, its a part of the family...

I own a Scottie currently ( and had another who passed away six years ago ). My condolences go to your and your family, and I hope you will adopt another through a shelter or Scottie rescue group.
