sugahara glassworks
founded in 1961 in central japan, sugahara glassworks has a beautiful tableware collection called, appropriately, "the black collection". with its wonderfully opaque black finish, the collection is perfect for the modernist/minimalist in the family [i love that ice bucket- so cool]. available online at terrestra.

We picked up some of glasses at a great price when a store here in Seattle sadly went out of business. We love them. Now we're getting married in March and wanted to register for more but couldn't find a vendor online. Thanks a lot, d*s!
