feather help?

feather

i'm working on something and i'm trying to round up design pieces that feature feathers...however, i'm coming up a bit short. i'm trying to find a piece of large furniture, a rug, or some fabric that has a feather print. preferable a large piece of furniture, upholstered or not. does anyone have ANY ideas? i have plenty of bedding, napkins, tableware and napkin rings with feather details or father patterns, but does anyone know of anything off the top of their head? just thought i'd the design-savvy crowd out there....thanks!

What about Tord Boontje Icarus light? It looks more like an angel wing but it does allude to feathers.

Here's one link to it.

Also have you covered Jan Milne? It looks like a UK company that started supplying architects and designers with custom graphic textiles and now have expanded to putting the graphics on laminates to make screens, tables and such.

Here are a few examples of their feather print.

http://janmilne.co.uk/mod_1/mod_1.2/index.jsp?dept=1.2.4

Maybe you can contact them and see if they could send you a picture of an example of the feather print on some of their furniture pieces or direct you to a project they may have done in NYC you can photograph. Hope that helps.

Check out matejewski: http://www.matejewski.com/a_catal/luminaires/plume.html
I love the Plume lamps, but unfortunately it's hard to get any information from the designer, or at least it takes ages...

Well, I would recommend as well Icarus which was mentioned before. Another link: http://www.designers-avenue.com/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=&products_id=289

These feather Christmas trees are everywhere this year:

I know its not furniture, but it is definitely feathery and unique and popular this year. It comes in different colors, shapes, and sizes.

Hope it helps!
