parsons design student, mihoko ouchi's beautiful crochet lamps took my breath away. stunning in form and construction, these pieces are destined for greatness. i can only hope mihoko continues with them and finds a manufacturer. ah, student design. there is so much greatness out there. you have no idea how excited i am that designsponge is now back in fullswing. i would click on my bookmarks daily (multiple times daily) and be sad everytime that you hadn't updated because you are the best it seems from them all.
anyways. welcome back and these lights are AWESOME. i LOVE stuff like this. too bad student work doesn't get recognized as much as it would if he had a manufacturer like you said.
