d*s reader, dustin passed on this gorgeous lamp from cultivate lighting [via mocoloco]. the "josephine" light is made from engraved pmma sheets illuminated by a special dimmable fluorescent bulb. to quote dustin, "I think it is one of the most beautiful lamps ever created." more info right here.

it's gorgeous - and they have chandeliers which are even more beautiful - but the prices are frightening (at least for me...)
