Do you give these to your pretend valentine? Or to the person you want to break up with but don't know how to do it any other way except to make her break up with you? hahahahaa ;-)
I think I'm with you, "cake". If I was dating someone and he gave me this ring... I wouldn't know what to think!! (Though, personally I DO love them. I also love all things plastic... especially CLEAR!)
It reminds me of when Trey bought Charlotte the cardboard baby on Sex and the City!
I have one real dimond ring and my 4 year old is always making off with it! I've got to get a few of these for sharing. Besides, who doesn't like to wear a touch of irony on a weekday.
Girls are weird. Think of it as a cute V-day gift... esp. if it comes with a really nice dinner with your guy. Stop thinking so much. If he wants to get rid of you, you'd know it if you'd actually admit it to yourself.
I actually ended back up here at this post by accident and saw "a boy"'s comment and it made me laugh outloud. Believe me, I have no problems with a plastic ring. I got married with no engagement ring (still don't have one, never will) and NO precious metal WEDDING BAND to boot (that was my fault)!! We used hand-made wood rings that my friend who's a set designer made for fun and happened to have two left over. Of course we were ridiculed by the person marrying us at City Hall (not in jest, but seriously), and one of the only pictures afterwards that came out was us "activating" our Wonder Twin powers...If I accepted a WOOD RING on my wedding day, I'd find the plastic ring on V-day just as charming, if not more!
You can find them at Target. It's a couple of bucks cheaper too :-) http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/602-6435655-8138251?asin=B000CPPYYA&tag=tcom_gogl618-20
You are the girl of my dreams. Too bad you're already taken. Lucky B*^&*%^... I love the idea of wooden wedding rings. I always thought I'd have mine tattooed on.
