don't tread on me

KREJCI_UKOL

dutch designer, doreen westphal of krejci designs bags made of used and flat bicycle tires from amsterdam. and if you've ever been to amsterdam, you know they have plenty of them. i don't normally post about bags and fashion, but i love the way doreen reexamined a waste material and made it into something beautiful. you can contact ms. westphal right here for more information on purchasing and pricing. enjoy! [thanks, doreen!]

right. ok, no. they still look like bicycle bags no matter how you sew them together. and then that goes with the duct tape wallets, and so on.

Did you know there's a company in Finland called Globe Hope that uses waste material in a complete line of clothes and accessories? I think they have some nice inventions creating new out of old material. You can chech them out at: http://www.globehope.com/

They don't have the spring collection up yet but you can see the winter collection on their site.
