more brunklaus

leave it to the dutch to design something this whimsical...certainly not for everyone (but perhaps a great choice for a dressing room or something else equally feminine) these silk curtains with printed blond hair were designed by nicolette brunklaus and sell for $400 a set. enjoy! [shipping takes a few weeks, they come directly from amsterdam]

I can't say how much I dislike these curtains. That much "hair" is icky. The Victorians used to make jewelry of hair. I've seen it and it is imho disgusting. I don't like taxidermy either, although bones and antlers don't bother me. 'nuf said.

I don't think hair is gross in general... but I'm not a fan of these drapes. They're slightly scary like the little girl in "The Ring." lol

Kind of creeps me out too. Might be cool in the right setting though, like a hair salon.

wow. I was really surprised that you guys don't like those drapes. I LOVE THEM! I'm actually a big fan of Nicolette's. To clarify, the curtains are $400 per half (i actually thought they were $500). So you'll pay closer to a grand for both halves. I would if they went with our space, but they don't. So we bought the other drapes she makes which are a digital image of woods in winter (black and white). I LOVE them! They really make the space. And you never get sick of trees!
