d*s sundays in the garden!
welcome to d*s sundays in the garden! so many of you have expressed interest in more gardening content, so i thought i'd devote sunday to coverage of great new gardening products and some must-read links to garden tips across the web. in addition, i'd love to showcase d*s reader gardens, so if you have a gorgeous spring windowbox, an herb garden or just a fabulous backyard to showcase, feel free to send a pic so we can share tips and tricks!
today we start with fresh planters at sprout ($8.50-$55.25) and greener grass design ($34-$54), and a must-read link to apartment therapy's interview with flora shop owener, saori. saori walks you through a great (city-friendly) window box project. some other must read links are to follow: have fun!- click here for land+living's landscape content (one of my fav sites)
- have a garden question? ask the experts at garden design magazine
- want to cultivate a community garden in your area? click here to find out how!
- tips for composting in your urban garden from the brooklyn botanic gardens
- some fun inspiration ideas from a british site specializing in window boxes

This makes me so happy that you'll be adding gardening stuff weekly!
Thanks!
A little bit of greenery always makes life better ;)
Question for design experts--anyone know of cook decking design? Our tiny deck in SF is being redone (code calls for wood) or manmade, and all the choices look so suburban. Many thanks!
