surrounding

i just stumbled on surrounding yesterday while looking for some new lighting. with locations in minnesota and los angeles, surrounding has been providing great modern design (especially lighting) since 2001. their collection is full of modern classics, but of course i was drawn to the pillows- especially those by italian fashion designer, simonetta quarti. quarti designed these pillows for quarzia that are hand made in the traditional batik technique from ubud, bali. i thought the colors and patterns were lovely (sorta retro modern). prices are pretty good, too ($60)! click here for more info on surrounding. enjoy!
