living etc did a great little roundup of lightbulbs and these floral versions from habitat were too interesting to pass up. click here for more info (search 'filly').
follow the link to habitat and search for filly, then you have to purchase through habitat. overseas shipping will be required (bummer), i'm trying to find a state-side resource...
But these don't work in US-specs lamps, do they? I bought both a low-cost lamp and two bulbs (~$25 total) in Paris two years ago--and then a $35 transformer at Radio Shack. I haven't tried using the bulbs in one of my US lamps because I was under the impression they wouldn't work (and I didn't want to damage them).
I actually had a really similar bulb as a nightlight growing up. My parents bought it for me in a little psuedo-Danish town in California. I still see these occasionally in tourist areas.

And I might be missing something, but how do I buy one?

I'm trying to figure out how to purchase with them - I guess I have to call them?

Oooo that's a good point. I'm going to hold off now in case that's the case!
