i was poking around one of the used bookstores across the street from me yesterday with my good friend jennifer who was in town (hi, jen!) and found this fantastic book of vintage indian graphics by taschen. it only came out a few years ago, but i hadn't seen it so it felt like a little gem to find. taschen always puts out the best art and design books. full of brightly colored images and beautiful old posters, it made me want to paint everything in our house bright blue, gold and fuschia. if you love graphic design and old prints, i highly suggest it- if only for the gorgeous colors. it's certainly a cure for the neutral blahs. click here for more info.
