the fabulous ms. amy ruppel just passed along this great resource for great indie design and stores in portland oregon. launched in june of 2005, ultra is a gateway to portland online shops, designers and stores that carry work by local portland designers and artists (the super cute cards above are my portland artist abby- click here for her etsy shop!). great link, thanks amy!

ultra's got their finger on the pulse of Portland. So glad you found them. Editor, Lisa Radon is a smart gal with love for all things beautiful, and the newsletter - it's practically a to-do list of what to check out around town. love it!
