two lighting pieces from copenhagen's bald + bang that will be at icff this year: the iq light (left) and turbo light (right). both pieces are available through bald + bang by email right here. founded in 2000, bald + bang is a danish company owned by gitte bald and anders bang.

I bought that IQ light for 10 euro from a street vendor in Italy. It's quite pretty when lit; it looks like ice cream.
I brought an IQ light home from a trip to Copenhagen last summer. It's amazing! there are actualy several different ways to assemble it, based on how many pieces you use. Assembly is a little tricky... but once you get the hang of it, it's kind of fun.
i paid 750 kroner for it... which was about 120 bucks. so 10 euros was a steal!!!!

IQ light and Turbo are both Danish design origianls from the 60's and 70's.
Those danes are really awesome with the design. Look at a site like this:
