d*s + icff 2006

dspongNEW

design season is upon us at last and i'll have to admit i'm a little terrified of all the events going on over the next 4-5 days (including the d*s/2modern party on monday), but i'm going to take them all head on and bring my trusty sponge camera and (new!) video camera to document it all for the rest of us. i'll be walking icff on saturday with the press, but i'll also be walking it on tuesday's "open to the public" day. a number of you expressed interest in walking the show together and what could be more fun than doing icff with a fun group of design junkies? so, wanna come have coffee and walk icff with the rest of us? sign up below (with your email) or shoot me an email with a time that works best for you [the show is from 10-4 on tuesday] and we'll decide on a time and meet up and enjoy all 145,000 net square feet. for those of you interested i'll also be checking out the stationery show so feel free to join me for that afterwards so, join up and come have some design fun on tuesday! you can even help in our icff video documentary!

[after icff ac and i will be heading to paris and amsterdam for a week so i'll be showing 5 different segments of the icff video tour so everyone can take part in the show! so stay tuned for that june 5-9.]

If you stop by the Stationary Show check out the Design Ideas booth. We are debuting our iPod stickers and they are pretty cool. I'm in the middle of actually making all the samples for the show, so that is a lot of work!

Wish I could be at the shows... :(

Ah, I was hoping the walkthrough would be Saturday; I'll be coming into town for ICFF that day!

As an interior design student, this is my first trade show. Very excited!

i just got back from paris, where i went to the robert le heros gallery on rue saintonge (that i found out about from your post a few weeks ago). I had a lovely chat (in French!) with the girl working there that day (Stef), and told her that you had featured them on your site. They're having a big sale starting on May 29...You should check it out.

grace;
i'm so happy you're going to paris and amsterdam, too! i hope you spot some amazing design stores and bring back lots of photos to share.
here's a great article that i think you'll really like on amsterdam. it's funny and informative, i think it will help you get your bearings in the city. i didn't write it, it's written by leif, another regular contributor up at gkfa.com

have fun!!!!!
