whimsy press
lately i've been swamped with submissions from icff, brooklyn designs and stationery show exhibitors, so it's rare that someone stands out from the sea of press releases and pdfs, but the gals at whimsy press took the time to make a little animated flash video just for me, so i'll have to say, i was pretty darn impressed.
based in atlanta, georgia, whimsy press started as a side project at an ad agency. looking for great gifts to give some fashion clients, the designers at whimsy decided to create their own wrapping papers for the gifts and voila! whimsy press was born. dedicated to fun, fashionable and functional papers, whimsy has released a debut collection full of pattern and vibrant color- perfect for summer. they'll be showing their first collection at the stationery show this weekend (i'll be covering this for d*s, too), so be sure to check them out at booth #1444. and you can click here to browse and shop their entire collection. great work, guys!

I just went to there web site – they have note cards and stickers too! The wrapping paper makes me want to go out to buys gifts just so I could use the wrapping paper! I love it!
Totally cool! Totally new! I went to the site and you can see a close up version of the double-sided fabulousness, which I highly recommend. Stickers are so simple yet ingenious! Great find! I need to give some gifts.
I'm a tad bit stationery/paper obsessed and wondering if you have any other links for other modern stationery companies in the upcoming Stationery show...I went to the website but couldn't find any. I know the company eieio makes some beautiful papers as well...
