alice stevenson
it's rare that i find an artist who makes me want to immediately invest in their work. contrary to popular belief, i'm a big big window shopper, but not a big buyer. i live in a small budget so my purchases or few and far between and usually consist of pieces i feel drawn to on some emotional level. so while browsing the fantastic print+pattern blog yesterday i was stunned to come across the work of alice stevenson.
based in london, alice stevenson graduated from the university of brighton and now works as a freelance illustrator. her work has appeared in world of interiors and numerous other publications, but i'm hoping that now it can appear in my home. her prints and patterns aren't for sale on the site but i'm writing an email right now to see if i can purchase or commission a small piece. i think artwork is something worth investing in if you find an artist or piece that really speaks to you. you can click here for more information on alice stevenson (her work is consistently beautiful) and here to see print+pattern's original post. enjoy!
