another shade of grey
d*s reader julie at another shade of grey makes beautiful handmade lampshades that i just had to share. hand drawn by julie, each shade has a beautiful decoration done in ink or graphite that can be cleaned easily with a lint roller (i worried about the graphite so i asked ahead...). i was really taken by the detailing and would love to see them lit in person. each shade is a hardback drum sized either 10.5"h x 11" top and 13" bottom, and 9.5" h x 11" top 13" bottom with spider fittings. prices range from $35-$50 each so click here to order at another shade of grey. it's so nice to see designers creating beautiful and affordable pieces by hand. great work, julie!
