(live) blogging project runway
i thought, why not? so i'm writing this as the show goes on. my gut reaction is: I LOVE MICHAEL. could he be any sweeter? more updates soon...
- amanda is horrible. but then again, so is kayne. a chatty southerner match made in heaven
- why won't the rock star just make something that's good enough for people to take him seriously? he walks in like "i'm so good, i deserve respect" but i don't think he's earned it yet. and that neck tattoo- eesh.
- how gorgeous is michael's model? stunning.
- WHAT is heidi wearing on the runway?!
- from ac: "[heidi] really shouldn't be allowed to speak. and have you noticed that one of her eyes is f-ed up?"
- i want to die: i LOVE angela's outfit. the texture is gorgeous
- could laura's outfit be more boring?>

- i'm so glad michael kors is back!
- ok judging now: i think kayne is sort of tacky and i loved angela's dress minus the rosettes. i'm so glad they recognized michael's talent.
hoooooray! it's a good night because michael won and he's just too cute for words. but i'll miss bradley. i think he's just not made for this contest. i see him as this crazy misunderstood artist. oh well. bye, bradley! hooray for michael!

i love Michael Kors and I luv luv luv Michael Knight, he is a fabulously sweet mamas boy who can sew, and he is not bad on the eyes either. I am very surprised at howm much I like Angelas, and Kanes is absolutely fabulous. I am however going with Michael, they slept on him the entire series so far. He is Fire!!!
Oh I'm so glad you're doing this! How fun. I came right after the show and I'm jumping up and down I'm so happy for Michael!

i loved michael and his hot hot pants! but i also really liked heidi's very interesting runway outfit! was it just me? anyone else?
Aggghh! You should have put a spoiler alert in there...I've Tivo'd it and still have yet to watch it.
I should have known better than read the live play by play.

Google searches for Michael Knight must be handled carefully, as, let us not forget, that epic hero from 'Knight Rider' bears the same name.
I bet PR Michael could hassle the Hoff into some hot pants though, even if he ain't no Cap'n Save-A-Ho.
Loved Angela's, Laura's (you may call it boring but it was classic Aubrey Hepburne. I do wonder if she will ever come out of the browns though) and Michael's. Had I been the judge, Angela would have won, even as much as I hate to admit. At least there weren't any quilting yo yos involved.
I particularly disliked Alison's and the obvious, Bradley's. I think my Cher doll's clothes were better designed and made than whatever that conglomeration was.
Uli disappointed me a bit. I loved her choice of fabrics, but didn't really care for the cut of the dress. I think it needed to be more dynamic.
I always find it interesting to go to the Runway store and see how the bids are going on last night's designs.

I was also happy that Michael won. He is very good and has fabulous construction skills on top of the design talent. I am glad Angela is showing that she can do more that the poofy skirt. And they seem to be well executed, as well. I detest Jeffery, but there is always one in the crowd who has to remind everyone how great they are.
And I love Kayne. He is funny, and clever and cracks me up. I also love Robert, but he needs to jump on it or I fear he is gone. Then there is Bradley, who had the melt down a weeks or so ago, threw something horrid together and they loved it. But the Cher thing! Oy! So, I think the choice to send him home was a good one.
I'm so glad Bradley is gone. So boring and so poor at sewing.

I still think Kayne is going to win. He's so good at making elegant sexy clothes. And I demand more Tim Gunn!

I'm so happy that Michael won. I've been on his side since the coffee filter dress. (Which was the most inventive of that challenge and should have won, by the way.) Could not have predicted Angela's actual talent, though. Who knew?
I loved Michael's outfit as well. He just "threw together" the hot pants?! Now that's talent. As Bradley's white Cher pants showed, a beautiful model body doesn't hide bad construction. Michael's shorts were perfection. Angela has really grown a lot. It says a lot that she's willing to listen and learn. Laura's Katherine Hepburn (not Aubrey as someone wrote above) was classic Katherine H, but I thought if she'd wanted to really update it, lower slung slacks would have been more modern. A wrap blouse with a very low tie (so no belly) would have been perfect Kate a la 21st C. Loving this show.

3. i loved angela's dress... i have to cut her some slack from now on... but she needs to slow down on the rosettes

5. i have been watching design star but the challenges are too ridiculous and vern yip is FULL of himself!
