domino bazaar
rena caught this on the domino site and i thought i'd pass it on. domino seems to be having a big home bazaar in new york with vendors their editors have chosen. it runs for two days from october 13-14 from 10am to 6pm and tickets are $25 a pop. there are over 100 vendors, cooking classes, decorating demos, designer consultations and more. sounds cool. so if you're in the area check it out, more info here. could be cool...

That sounds like fun. Too bad the October Domino that arrived in my mailbox yesterday was such a letdown. I loved the September issues. Claire Forlani's house was boring, storage solutions were dull, kitchen ideas were a snore. Domino - you can do better than this!
this was the most disapppointing event! they didn't let people in until 10:15 (started at 10am), and there were film crews everywhere so you couldn't even walk around. The ads made it seem like tons of vendors, but it was very small, essentially 4 small "tents." The whole thing sucked!!
yeah-it was sooo small in comparision to how they advertised it. it was like they promised a limo and showed up in a smart car. very disappointing-and i traveled two hours to go because i thought it was going to be just as good as their magazine.
