jennifer at odette ny just emailed me about her gorgeous new fall 2006 collection. i've been a fan of jennifer's work for a while but this new collection (merric) is really lovely. jennifer recently began sketching and carving wax by hand and then cast it in sterling silver and 14k yellow and rose gold. the result is really lovely. and i hear she's moving to brooklyn so it's great to have another talented designer in the neighborhood. click here for more information and to shop. Lovely charms!! Rabbits....I was wondering what was going to be the new bird.
yup, i think it's gonna be rabbits. they're all over jewelry and it's starting to creep into textiles...we'll see!

I have rabbits and birds AND deer (http://www.aplanetnamedjanet.blogspot.com/ )in my backyard. :-) Yes, they are popping up everywhere!
