I'm thinking my favorite might be your favorite, too. I am shocked as well. Things look different in movement though, so I'm still going to watch the show.

Well, I think my favorite is still my favorite. But I was surprised by what I saw. I'm confused tho. All four made it to fashion week, so why the focus on the final three? Thanks for posting these links!

I don't want to look, but I have the feeling that the person who is least expected to win, is going to win. I honestly don't think it will be Michael, because it's SO obvious that he's the favorite. My personal favorites are the bad boy and Laura. Love their styles!

Jeffrey's stuff seems overall like it's the nicest showing as a group. He seems like an ass and he's annoying, but artists often are. I like his collection and think he should win.

ok, but does anyone think they might choose the winner based on the earlier things? if we all think a certain designer (ahem...we know who) was a shoe-in to win pre-show but may have slipped a little with the olympus fashion week collection, might they overlook that when they choose a winner?

anyone wanna guess who the real three are? i think uli is the faux...at least i hope so.

ok since we know who the four are already it doesn't give anything away to say...

jeffrey! jeffrey was my favorite by far. reminded me of early marc jacobs with a bit more rock.

i didn't like michael's collection at all, or uli's.

i did love laura's, but i'm worried they might think it looks like everything else. to me jeffrey had the most promise. but i hope he wasn't the fake fourth designer...

i think he and allyson should do a collection together. rock chic.

I was pleasantly surprised by Jeffrey's collection. The pink/red polkadot dresses were adorable. But, I didn't love some of the other pieces. I loved Laura's. Although she clearly stuck with what we've seen before, there was the youthfulness that was missing previously. I thought her gold turtleneck sweater/jersey dress with beading was the missing Twiggy dress several competitions back. I was very disappointed in Michael's collection - almost harsh. Uli was Uli and I agree, I hope she was the faux. I finally figured out why all four show at fashion week. Not bad to be #4, really great exposure.

honestly, i can't stand jeffrey's work and i can't stand jeffrey. she should have been auf'd for the way he treated angela's mother (and no, i didn't like angela, but nobody has a right to be that much of an asshole to someone's mother...)

ahem.

i have to say, i'm still rooting for laura. of all the collections hers looks to be the most cohesive as a whole. all the pieces show her classy style, everything is beautiful.

micheal's stuff is also gorgeous, as always. but the collection didn't woo me.

A lot of Jeffrey's stuff looks straight off the racks of Forever 21, and Michael inexplicably went rap video ho (whhhhy??). I've been for Michael since episode one and his adorable coffee filter dress, but he's killing me with this collection. I have to go with Laura... I'd love to have that little gold dress with the black belt.

THIS SEASON OF P.R. WAS SO ANNOYING!

All the press up to the start of this season kept telling us this was the best group of designers, yet. What a bunch of crap.

This group was the worst. Both the first and second season favorites would have kicked Season 3's asses.

With that being said, I hate Jeffrey's attitude, and I think he needs some major therapy to deal with his insecurity issues and post drug-addiction crazies- but the reality of our situation is: His collection was the best. That pocketed green stripe dress is genius. His use of the polka dot, and other colors were surprisingly feminine, and he really cleaned everything up.

I also liked Laura's collection and respect a designer with a specific style. She sticks with it...with out comprimising. Uli's collection was a little boring...a couple of gems here and there.

And then there is Michael. I, like everyone else fell in love with Michael early in the show. He's sweet, and real, and his humble personity got us. But if I'm keeping it real, Michael has been designing some awful things for several weeks. And his collection was simply horrible. The judges wanted to really like him, but he's just not sophisticated enough- YET.

Overall, this season was incredibly boring. Show after show...runways of one ugly dress after the other. I wish the producers of the show would ease up on the crazy competitions of making dresses out of garbage, or designing for your competitor's mother. Can't we just give the designer's some time to design beautiful pieces? Dresses, suits, cocktail dresses, denim...I'd love to see a runway full of stunning outfits by undeniably talented people.

Oh well...there's always next year.

This has been an interesting take. I have not wanted to like Jeffrey cause of his attitude. But he does end up with some nice pieces. I like the baby doll with netting. The one photo with the over the shoulder look would be perfect for a portrait painting.

I really do like Laura's pieces. Especially the t-neck -- but not like I could wear it. She is absolutely beaming in those photos. Whether or not she wins, no doubt she will be able to effect a career change.

I hate to say it too, but I think Jeffrey might have won the competition. To be honest though, they all sucked. And I hated this season... and I almost don't care who wins.

Speaking of winners though, Jay McCarroll had a show and it looked wild!

Okay, here's the cliche...they're all winners! I believe that the P.R. finalists have learned from past finalists and they all presented collections for their target audiences. I mean, who besides Jay Carroll, who just presented this past season, has actually produced a viable collection since the show started? It was very right and smart for the designers to target the collections for their particular design aesthestic or as an audition for a job with a top designer.

Now, having said that, I, too, was shocked when I first saw Michael's collection because he has been presenting the All-American Southern boy style all season long. However, upon further review and removing my personal buying tastes from the equation, I can honestly say that his collection took the most risks and is by far the most editorial. Can you not see those short, flowy dresses draped on Gisele in Vogue? He went Cavalli-esque on me and now that the initial shock is over---I applaud his daring. And swimsuits are not easy to design or fit, and although I would not wear the two Michael designed(I'm not 5'10"), he did design the heck out of them. They were flawless! He also showed technique and range with the cut and fit of the various pieces that he showed.

Jeffrey, surprisingly, was the most creative. I, like everyone else, adored the polka dot dress with the slash front pocket. How cute on a younger girl? He also showed that rocker cool did not have to always mean tattoos and spike chokers. I agree with D*S, Jeffrey definitely channeled early Marc Jacobs, but I did not feel that his collection had much depth or much risk, other than going the opposite of what we would expect. Does shocking us by presenting a "normal" collection mean he presented the BEST collection?

Laura's collection was the most wearable for the majority of American women, but I have to say that her taupe/beige dress with the black band was a direct copy of a dress Sarah Jessica Parker wore when she was pregnant. It was photographed a lot, so when I saw it...it took me a minute to remember exactly where I saw it before, but yes, its a copy of Narciso Rodriquez I want to say. Laura designed for her upper East side friends and I did not see anything youthful about the collection. This was also her Spring collection and it was all black! And she did not show (at least from the photos) not one pair of pants. The formal black dress I can not wait to see on the runway because the bottom movement looked incredible! Her collection was Carolina Herrara meets a Kate Spade ad, and overall I liked it.

Uli stepped outside of her all-print-all-the-time mode. Bravo! But I couldn't figure the collection out as a whole. It was pretty and flowy, but that was about it.

I'm not sure if my season long fave will win, so it will be exciting to watch and hear what the judges say--that's what I am most curious about now...who will they choose?

gasp...I didn;t like Michael's collection...too sex kitten. OMG Laura knocked it out of the box; classic, very Laura signature, with an edge I didn't know she had. WOW!
