risd + student design

oddvIIG2X5Vh2KQ

one of the best things about running this site has been getting to meet and work with talented student designers across the country. last week i was up in providence to talk to students at risd about the design media and i'll have to say- i think i was probably the one who walked inspired. i've never felt so re-invigorated to get back to working with students and adding features to the site that might help them with their work and careers. so stay tuned for some new features after the new year geared specifically towards up and coming student designers. i hope to give them a well-deserved platform in the web. in the meantime i took in a fantastic brian chippendale show at gallery agniel with heather guidero and was even able to find time to meet up with an old friend (hi, amanda) at the red fez. [thanks again to david sokol at risd for inviting me up to speak and thanks to heather for showing me around risd]

[i'll be speaking with scad's textile dept this spring, too so if you're in the area hopefully we can have a little meetup]
