birdtree philosophy
i got an email from designer chantal lebreton yesterday sharing her gorgeous organic lavendar sachets. chantal creates eco-friendly silk-screened textiles from her studio in vienna, va. her debut collection called birdtree philosophy includes table runners, pillows and these lovely sachets. chantal is still building her site but if you'd like to order these sachets (hello, holiday gifts) you can order via brooklyn shop home & haven- just call to place an order. each 4.5 x 4.5 sachet is handmade and sells for $15. great idea for a stocking stuffer, too...[thanks, chantal!]

just curious, since i'm getting into silkscreening myself, but what makes her printed textiles eco-friendly? is it the fabric or the ink? the colors are lovely.
