12 days of christmas

we saw a big rush in the shop yesterday so i'm trying to add little details about each product this week before we're entirely sold out. these beautiful letterpressed 12 days of christmas cards were created by happy menocal for black pearl press. each one represents a verse of the song, my personal favorite being the hens and 5 golden rings. readers have been using them as mantle displays and even a centerpiece in the case of one reader. they're a fantastic idea for holiday decoration or just holiday well wishes and thank-yous. click here to buy ($45 for a set of 12 handmade cards). [all card set orders are sent within 1-2 days so they'll arrive in plenty of time for holiday decorations if you need them]

The chickens are sweet. Oh now I have to figure out how the three fit in the song.

Hi - I love your site, and so do many of my students. You always have consistently great photography, and I was curious about whether or not you photograph the items yourself? It seems like you must. Anyway keep up the great work!

hi william :)

it varies picture to picture. some photographs are press photos (the pictures found on websites or sent to me by press people), some are photos i've taken and some are photos taken by artists sent directly to me.

thanks for reading and happy holidays

Thanks! Saved me a Google search --- and an afternoon of the song going around and around through my head! :-)
