ayumi horie

i've heard ayumi horie's name so many times before (mostly from the gang at variegated) but i have no idea what took me so long to post about her. ayumi is a potter based in rosendale, ny who creates truly unique hand-made designs. there is such heart and soul to her work i find it irresistible. you can tell that each piece is made by hand with such care and attention to detail. ayumi often leaves little corners or edges the natural pottery color to contrast with colored glazes and paints- a detail i love. her work really speaks for itself so click here to view her full collection and shop online. [thanks, ayumi!]
