sometimes a fun new table lamp is the perfect solution for room boredom. when i feel like a room is getting stale i like to change out accessories like table lamps, rugs and wall decor. this cute little owl lamp ($24) at urban would look adorable with a vintage shade like the one pictured (which i can't find on the site, grr...) or something simple like a nice slate colored linen...or turquoise? click here to get more info and to buy.Labels: lighting

I have the fabric on that lampshade! Got it from an estate sale... The birdies are so cute! I have no clue what to do with it though ;)

Weird here too. I ordered the turquoise owl bank from UO and got this lamp instead. I felt like it was my good fortune and am now looking for a shade.

And do you know if UO is making reproductions of this fabric, or are they using vintage fabic?

i snagged that lamp with an aqua shade about a month ago at UO. It was the last one in the store at the time and it sits perched on my work table. I absolutely love it! Good call Grace, it makes me happy every time I look at it. (and is vaguely similar to Jonathan Adler's menagerie group which I can't quite afford right now :-)
