I think it's funny how all of the sudden everyone is making pillows and retailing them for $100+. What makes pillows so damn special? They're just two pieces of fabric sewn together (for the most part). And who's gonna want to lay their greasy head on it, watching bravo reality shows after a long day of work sitting in front of a computer? Not me sireee! I sacrificed a month's worth of kitty food for it!

I was going to make a similar comment.

Are we so caught up we're now buying "status" pillows along with furniture and handbags? This whole field of housewares is becoming sickening with the insane pricing.
I wonder how much of the profits the "artisans in northern India" get from those Judy Ross pillows.
