pencil boxes

thanks to jan at poppytalk who just sent over these lovely pencil boxes from vancouver's the regional assembly of text (quite a name). each hand-made cedar box uses fabric with silk-screened patterns and bright colors. such a fun way to store your pens and pencils. click here for more info. you can buy the bird box for appx $24 right here...[thanks jan!]

I actually just purchased one pencil box today at their store in Van. Actually, I couldn't decide on what print/fabric/box size combination I wanted, so they custom-made one for me. If ever in Vancouver, visit the store! The Regional Assembly of Text will not disappoint.

And yes... I saw one pencil box with an image of a typewriter for sale today.

It's a beautiful store. They have a wall of vintage typewriters and filing cabinets in the back. Here are a couple of photos.
