sneak peek...sarah cihat
our last sneak peek for the day (there are boys coming tomorrow in case anyone is worried) belongs to brooklyn ceramicist sarah cihat. i love the wood grain wallpaper on her walls and had to share this overview and close up shot. the pattern acts as a nice neutral background but gives just the slightest hint of pattern.
[update: the walls are a finish that sarah did herself! it's taupe grey over gloss white paint with the help of a special wood grain squeegee she found "ages ago"]

AAAhhh...vinyl woodgrain. Lovely.
oooh....where might i find that wallpaper for purchase? it would go so well in my bedroom.
thanks!
i like that vinyl woodgrain, too!
oh please do find out where all her wall decor is from! the clock and the tiny antlers and the big animal puzzle head!
The wallpaper looks pretty nice. Not sure if I'd want it at my place, but it looks good there.
I love the moose head too ;).
I really love the sneak peaks!
i love sarah's decorating style-- i wish i could see more! ...and is that a little dachshund on the couch??
Oh my god, where can we find that moosehead?
Very nice. Love the walls :)
Alpha Workshops (yes, who I work for) has a paper called Oh So Faux that is a handpainnted wallpaper. We did a grey and white colorway for a customer a little while ago for her bathroom. In fact when I first saw the picture, I thought it was our paper. See the wallpaper here: http://www.alphaworkshops.org/products/wallpapers/ohsofaux.html
Ahhh! I've been looking for that moosehead, please share the source! I saw it a while ago in a magazine and can't remember where. Love it. Thanks!
