(mini) mini trend: chain link
this trend isn't fully fleshed out yet but i think we're going to start seeing a lot more of the chain link trend in the months to come. i'm dying to see if there's much of it at icff and brooklyn designs. we'll see. until then, here are some of my favorite chain designs in the market right now (home and otherwise). have something to add? drop a line via email or the comment section below...[photo above, clockwise from left to right: mollie dash bracelet, link cheese knife set ($38), chain pull ($16), chain link earrings ($15), chain knob ($8) and chain handle ($14)]

In the new Blueprint magazine that just arrived in my mailbox there is an article called 'The Chicest Link' about how to make chain necklaces, bracelets, and belts! So gorgeous. Great trend!
i know! it was such a great idea. i loved the layout of that article, too with all the chains lined up together. their editor sent me a little kit with plyers and chains to work with so i made them all right away and wore them to dinner.

ohhhh so lucky! they look so elegant!
There are also a few stationery items (@ finestationery.com) with chain themes like this vera wang fold over (my personal fave).
thanks! just added the boatman geller style...

sarah the editor at Blueprint sent me this kit for making a chain bracelet which i am going to try to make and post about soon...they've got a feature in their current issue about chain jewelry, which i see someone else already mentioned!
and it was a trend seen in domino months ago
I just love the beautiful hand-made chain at http://www.tinkleroriginals.com - especially the pieces combining titanium chain with natural stones.
