sneak peek...jonathan adler

jonathan adler just opened a new shop in the west village. i'm crazy about the dollar sign tiles. not because of their symbolism but because they're such a cute round shape. click here for more info and to visit...

Here's a brilliant concept normal room!!! You get to see interior design and home furniture from all around the globe, it's pretty addicting.

Presumably you expect the servants to clean them out.

I just do. not. get. the entire Jonathan Adler aesthetic, and those tiles are completely crass.

Jonathan Adler has some lovely sofas! Formal yet very modern with simple clean lines. Love them. I would love to use one in my next project.

Oh Angie- you're back!

Maybe you can give us a lecture on fair-trade and how we're all evil for liking tiles, too. Please?

These are the perfect example of something that I drawn to but would never own. They need exactly the right setting or else the owner would just come off as a cocky Trump.

hahahaha. well jonathan adler actually uses(used?) aid to artisans for a lot of his pottery work, so...no fair trade issues there. i don't get the jonathan adler addiction either, although there's something about him that i like, and while i may not be over the moon about an entirely jonathan adler done environ, i think he has lots of products that are worthy of affection !

I think you meant to write that those tiles are just CLASS. I love them!!! I could totally see doing a small area (not a whole wall) with tiles like that! You can't be serious and somber all of the time!

He came to Aid to Artisans (ATA) in 1997 and started working with an artisan group in Peru that we had worked with. From there, he stared working with them on his own and the rest is history. A great artisan-importer success story!
